Buddha's Words
Do not yield to negligence,
Don’t be intimate with sensual delight.
For the diligent ones, meditating,
Attain supreme happiness.’ [26] (Samyutta Nikaya)
Mahasi Sayadaw-gyi
While noting the rising of the abdomen, do so from the beginning to the end of the movement just as if you are seeing it with your eyes. Do the same with the falling movement.
Panditarama Sayadaw-gyi
Sit with legs crossed and keep the back straight,
The mind on the abdomen must be firmly placed.
Breathe normally, note every rising and falling for sure,
